If an adult with a disability requires an ice skating aid, management may accommodate such requests with discretion.
Penguins
Suitable for children up to 1.2 meters tall (in skates).
Snowmen
Designed for children up to 1.5 meters tall (in skates).

- Availability: Ice skating aids are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Height (In skates): Max 1.2 meters for Penguins, and 1.5 meters for Snowmen.
- Age: Designed for children aged 4-12.
- Hiring: Aids can be hired exclusively from the Customer Services Desk.
- Timing: Request skate aids 30 minutes before your session begins.
- Cost: £5.95 per aid for a single session.
Availability

Height Restrictions
To ensure optimal support and safety, Ice Skating Aids are available for:
- Penguins: Max height 1.1 meters or 1.2 meters in skates
- Snowmen: Max height 1.4 meters or 1.5 meters in skates
These height limits are in place to ensure the aids are appropriately suited to the users, ensuring both support and stability and follow manufacturer guidelines.
Age Restrictions
Our Ice Skating Aids are designed for children aged 4-12. For safety and enjoyment, children must be accompanied by an adult or teen skater aged 13 or over. This ensures a secure environment and allows young skaters to fully enjoy their ice skating experience with proper guidance.
Where to hire
Ice Skating Aids can be rented from the Customer Services Desk. Unfortunately, online reservations are not available. Visit the desk where our friendly staff will assist you in obtaining the aids you need for your session.
When to Hire
We recommend requesting Ice Skating Aids at least 30 minutes before your session begins. This allows ample time for our team to assist you and ensures a smooth start to your ice skating adventure.
Hiring Cost
Aids are available for hire at £5.95 per aid for a single session. This small investment provides your child with additional support and confidence on the ice, enhancing their overall experience.
Skating Aids Number Limitations
To ensure the safety of all skaters, we must limit the number of skating aids available. The number of aids is managed at the discretion of the manager, based on current data. If aids are available but not offered, it is to maintain a safe environment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
